Islam
As an organization that fosters
and teaches Islam to our young scouts, there is an
obligation to uphold the values of Allah, The Prophet(pbuh),
and Ahlul-Bayt. As parents there are many ways that
you can get involved in the Muslim Scouts of Michigan.
Our scouts have
a regimented curriculum that ensures that they are
taught the teachings of Islam as part of their experience.
We feel that it is essential for every scout to build
self-confidence, self-esteem, mental and physical strength
in order that they become successful Muslim adults
that contribute positively to their community and their
religion.

How
can you contribute?
Your contributions can come in many forms and all are needed
and greatly appreciated. Contributing your time is a wonderufl
way to be involved in the community and in your child's life.
Contributing equipment, contributing transportation, contributing
your knowledge, etc. It takes a team of dedicated and caring
volunteers to make adventures come alive for our youth.
We need parents and other dedicated adults to help offer
adventure and education to young people. If you can
commit 12-14 hours per month, are willing to help your community
and learn new skills, and successfully complete the volunteer
screening process, you can be a leader! Your contributions,
as long as they are positive to the organization and beneficial
to the scouts, are always welcome inshallah.

Contacting
us is the always the first step. Once you contact
us we will relay to you the necessary forms and pertinent
information. You are always welcome to visit us;
arrangements can be made when you call us to inquire.

How
much does it cost for me to put my children in
the scouts?
When
you contact us, we will be happy
to educate you about the costs involved
in having your son or daughter become
and actively participate in our events
and activities. The fees are nominal
because we believe that teaching
our children to becomebetter
muslim citizens is priceless.
