Planning
To help Muslim children learn more about their religion in a creative and interesting manner. The scout activity promote self esteem and provide interesting environment for children. Combining Islamic education with scout activity will be the prime program for our kids in today's society. It is simple, turn to scout where fun and activities will be there for you.

Hussein Bazzi, Vice President 2002

The Muslim Scouts seek to build a generation of Muslim American Youth, with a strong personality, healthy citizenship, and powerful character, in which they can build their future, the future of their community, and the future of the country, under the peaceful light of Islam.

Wissam Charafeddine, President 2002

Execution
The Muslim Girl Scouts have been established by the Muslim Scouts of Michigan as members of the Metro Girl Scout Council which are members of Girl Scouts of America as well as the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

Muslim youngsters of Muslim Girl Scouts build character and skills for success in life. Girls develop qualities such as strong Islamic values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. They learn to be loyal, honest, considerate, caring, unselfish, courageous, cooperative, responsible, courteous, and respectful Muslim leaders following the steps of our Great role-model Sayyida Fatima AlZahraa (a).

Camp Sites

1.  Algonac State Park 1 2                               Driving Directions                    Permission Slip                        Parents Notes

A beautiful area for organizational camps.  Close to the cost of St. Clair River (about 20 minutes walking).  A great camp for swimming, archery, shot gun shooting, and rustic camping.  The archery and shot gun ranges are 10 minutes walk from the camp site.  No rangers at attendance, so leaders should take care of instruction and safety.  Also, the group will bring their own equipment, except for the archery targets.  Swimming is a good idea in the summer, although the water remains cold most of the season.  Bathrooms are available on site and showers are available few minutes driving, or about 20 minutes walking.  Make sure you have a mosquito repellant!
